It has just come to my attention that my former college, The State University of New York College at Oneonta (SUNY Oneonta) has been put on the list of the Top 50 College's for Women, by Cosmo Girl magazine. The Daily Star Online addition, the local Oneonta newspaper, has a brief write up about this achievement that can be found here. The article from Cosmo Girl can be found here. No other SUNY school was on this list, and only 4 colleges in total were from NY state.
This is just an interesting story as one of the lures of Oneonta is the number of women that attend the school. In my experience the number of attractive women at Oneonta is unlike most any other school, especially based on it's size. I have a multitude of friends who will agree that the women of Oneonta State are perhaps some of the best looking and most intelligent in the country.
What is also great about this article is that it may draw more women to attend college at Oneonta, which will benefit the future generations of Oneonta State. Oneonta has a great mix between academics and nightlife, and can sustain both successfully. Lets hope the tradition continues.
