Other than seeing an awesome acoustic set by Blondfire at Hotel Cafe last Tuesday (over a week ago), I haven't done too much. More recently I spent low key weekend with a sweet bar-b-que / fire-pit party on Labor Day. Been spending a lot of time watching the Mets play themselves out of the NL wildcard race. Oh Well.

Maybe if Ryan & the band come back out to LA they won't cancel their shows. I even got an extra ticket for Bigworm when he was in town. Instead we saw The Whitestripes. Of course the 1 ticket I got through Ticketmaster was refunded, minus Ticketmaster fees of course.
